I am an Irish fashion designer with a background in international sportswear apparel having designed for brands such as Fila, Puma, Lee Jeans and Sweaty Betty. I have worked as a trend analyst and forecaster with the world’s leading trend forecaster, WGSN in London.
I have a special interest in combining contemporary fashion, wearable technology and e-smart textiles. I am a graduate of the National College of Art and Design (Dublin) and since my return to Dublin from London in 2013 I have been lecturing in first year Art and Design at NCAD as well as developing my own collection of womenswear.
Experimentation in cut and timeless ready-to-wear pieces along with comfort and sustainability are the hallmarks of my handwriting as a designer. My garments are primarily trans seasonal and I hand sew each garment at my studio in Rathfarnham, Dublin.
I am using more faded pastel denim colours with clashing contrasts. I try to use sustainable and eco-friendly fabrics where possible and I will be introducing more organic denim this season. Taking inspiration from the 1990’s and Christine and the Queens -Tilted performance I will be making clean lines and more structured and tailored garments. I cycle a lot too so I am introducing some reflective colour-block design clothing for a more seamless transition from day to night without compromising style. I’ll continue with a high waisted culotte with panels and my shorter cropped graphic sweaters with kimono sleeves were popular so my customers can expect more of those with a new twist and I will continue with my coatigan style with more panelling.

My SS17 collection combines sportswear and denim, which is a significant part of my signature as a designer. This collection is heavily influenced by artists Alex Walker and Jesús Perea with soft geometrics that offset sharp angular lines and asymmetric panelling. Deconstructed sleeves are also key features. Colours range from sorbet to darker tones inspired by satellite imagery of cities waking at night.

My AW16\17 collection is an eclectic mix combining denim, hickory stripe, grid and geometric prints with a Japanese twist. The collection has undertones of workwear utility which is influenced by the emergence of denim in the mid-19th century.
